 Children who live without parents often develop a complex of self-doubt, a disbelief in their own strengths. Abandoned children figure that they are not as good as other children, that they must be worse than the children who have mothers and fathers. Only a childs sincere, open friendships with various children, those in the same situation and those with families, are capable of overcoming these barriers in a childs soul.
On the grounds of our shelter there is an old playground. It was created entirely by the hands of our staff. After numerous breakdowns and repairs in the course of 12 years, our playground is in need of renovation. In order to purchase the necessary equipment for the playground, we need $2000. We believe that a new playground will give many happy moments to our children. And other children who live near the shelter will come play and socialize with our children.
Many of our children have led a large part of their childhood in a struggle to survive, faced with hunger, cold, and drunken and indifferent parents. Now we can give them a happy, colorful, joyful childhood that they will remember throughout their life! Together, let us give the children a gift of joy!
