The Social Program “Follow Me” was created with the goal of visiting children who have been among our short-term residents and now live in government boarding schools (internats). Our team conducts Bible lessons and Christmas and Easter celebrations with the children. We also provide spiritual, psychological, and partial material support to the children. We carry out our program at five internats in the course of a week.
The Social Program also visits eleven educational institutions (including schools, lyceums, and colleges) in the city of Makeevka, where we conduct meetings and discussions with students on pressing themes. Together, as we examine important life questions such as the reason for life, the harm of dependence on cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs, pre-marital relations, AIDS, uniqueness, and loneliness, we have the opportunity to tell young people what the Bible says about these topics.
The Program conducts various presentations, conferences, and seminars for parents and teachers of educational institutions. Their goal is to help with the upbringing of children and young people, to point out the importance of the spiritual upbringing of a child, which will carry influence over his future and the decisions he will make.
